Founded on a blend of real estate strategy, interior design, and high-end hospitality standards, Espacios was created to unlock the true potential of homes across the Coromandel.

The work centres on key transitions: preparing a property for sale, setting up a new build, or bringing order back to a space that has been left behind.

MEET MARINA

Marina Kiebe is the founder of Espacios, based in Cooks Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Originally from Argentina, she has lived and worked in Argentina, Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand - building experience in real estate, hospitality, and design before settling in the Coromandel four years ago.

Her understanding of space came from her time spent in Copenhagen and an introduction to the Scandinavian approach to interiors.

Marina holds a real estate broker licence from Argentina and is currently completing an Interior Design diploma through IDI - a combination of property knowledge, design instinct, and years of hands-on experience that informs how she reads and edits a space.

Since I arrived in Coromandel, I've come to appreciate its slower pace, natural beauty, and the way people here value simplicity and connection.

I started Espacios as a way of giving something back to the place I've chosen to call home.

I believe every home should reflect the people who live in it, their lifestyle, and the environment around them. Most spaces don't need more furniture, more styling, or more stuff. They simply need clarity.

Coromandel Lush is the styling signature behind Espacios.

Inspired by biophilic design principles, it focuses on bringing a stronger connection between the home and the natural environment around it.

This might be through greenery, natural materials, better flow, or simply removing visual clutter.

The approach looks different in every home.

The goal is always the same: creating spaces that feel calm, practical, and connected to the Coromandel lifestyle.

It’s not about adding more. It’s about revealing what is already there.

The aim is simple:

To arrive at a property with a fresh eye and leave the space looking like the best version of itself.

Cooks Beach, Coromandel

Before

A garage overwhelmed by accumulated belongings - bikes, boxes, laundry baskets, and years of overflow stacked without order. The space had stopped being usable.

After

Everything sorted, cleared, and reorganised. The floor is visible, items are grouped with intention, and the space works again.

Working with what's already there - assessing each space individually and editing it: removing visual noise, improving flow, creating a sense of calm and order.

Every project is handled with care and genuine respect for the home and the people connected to it.
